In modern EDM, the kick often doesn't change much - it's usually the same kick throughout the track. This means we don't need to oscillate live and use more DSP than needed. KickDrum pre-renders the kick while we edit it, and on playback, it just triggers the highest quality rendered sample possible. This approach unlocks a whole new set of features: phase zero-crossings that can be positioned freely, independent of the edit point. Linear phase equalizing without playback delay. Autogain that always delivers the desired peak without applying a gain curve. And a DSP load as low as playing a single sample - no matter how many FX we stack.

Seeing the exact signal our speakers receive is key to mastering loudness. KickDrum gives us a large, resizable editing canvas and true peak WYSIWYG oscillograms. Combined with fast and intuitive zoom and panning, this gives us control and precision down to the sample.

Its modular devices can be chained together freely: in series, nested, or parallel, in any combination or number needed, with zero compromises in quality or DSP performance: everything touching audio is full 64-bit floating point precision.
