OScope 2

Multitrack oscilloscope & spectral analyzer

OScope 2 with stacked waveforms, a spectrogram, spectrum, goniometer and phase correlation

See how your sounds line up, how their frequency content changes, and what happens when they combine. OScope brings waveforms, spectral analysis, stereo imaging and loudness into one window, with a timeline synced to your DAW.

  • Follow waveforms and spectrograms on the beat grid
  • Compare multiple tracks and see how their waveforms add together
  • Find overlapping frequencies with collision highlighting
  • Check stereo imaging and LUFS loudness
  • Spot and measure sample peaks precisely

See your full arrangement in real time

Multiple audio tracks aligned on the same beat grid

Use Follow mode to scroll with playback, or sync the display to your DAW's loop region to focus on a section. Add an OScope instance to each track. The instances find each other automatically, and in VST3 they inherit their track colors.

See frequency content over time

High-quality spectrograms show how frequencies develop over time. Spectral waveforms display that information through color.

Zoom in to examine the detail within a sound. Follow changes in pitch, the balance of harmonics, and how different frequencies develop and fade.

A kick waveform above a spectrogram showing its descending pitch

Use the spectrograms to get a visual impression of your track's frequency balance. Compare your mix with other tracks, such as a professionally mastered reference, to see differences in the distribution of bass, midrange and treble.

Focus on a frequency range

Filter set from 4 Hz to 28 Hz, showing the low-frequency waveform

Set low and high cutoff frequencies to visually isolate the part of the spectrum you want to examine. The filter affects analysis only.

See how tracks combine

Overlaid kick and bass waveforms above their spectral Sum waveform and spectrogram

Overlay your kick and bass to compare their individual cycles. Add a Sum lane to view their combined signal and see where they reinforce or cancel each other.

Find overlapping frequencies

Three spectrum curves with highlighted regions of shared frequency energy

Compare the spectra of stacked tracks in one plot. Collision highlighting marks their shared frequency content, helping you identify areas to listen to more closely when making EQ or arrangement decisions.

Measure loudness in LUFS

Loudness history above an audio waveform with a cursor readout

View momentary and short-term loudness alongside the waveform, with an integrated reading for the overall level. Use the cursor to inspect earlier values in the loudness history.

Explore the stereo image

Check stereo width in the goniometer and the relationship between channels with the phase correlation meter. Optional spectral colors can reveal frequency content within the stereo image.

Pause for a closer look

Stop playback to freeze the display and examine the detail. Resume playback to continue following your audio. You can also keep displaying live input while the transport is stopped.

Track options for channels, analysis filtering, spectrogram, LUFS and analyzers

Choose the views you need

Switch between L/R and Mid/Side waveforms and select which channels feed the spectral analysis. Edit several tracks together, then save your preferred setup as the default for new instances.

Set your own colors

Choose a factory gradient or edit the color stops yourself. Save gradients as swatches.
